This Saturday, May 31. From 10 am-2 pm come out and get your car washed and vacuumed for FREE at the church! Newark Mission team members say donations will be accepted if you twist their arms – all donations support Newark Mission 2014.

This Sunday, June 1. Pastor Jeff Elliott will be preaching from Luke 13:1-9 (Destruction & Fruitlessness: BAD Signs of the Times). We will be celebrating the Lord’s Supper during the worship service. When we celebrate the Lord’s Supper, we also take a Deacons’ Fund Collection to assist those who have financial needs within and outside of the church body.

            Groundbreaking Ceremony, Church-wide Picnic, & “Family Move”

                        Following worship we will have a brief Groundbreaking Ceremony for our new building.

                        A Church-wide Picnic is planned outside after the ceremony. Please bring 2 items of your choice: side dishes, salads, and/or desserts (keep in mind that you may be feeding a lot of people). The church will provide hot dogs, hamburgers, buns, and drinks.

                        While the picnic is being set up outside, we will ask that everyone not setting up for the picnic assist with our “Family Move” from the preschool building to the new Children’s Ministry Wing.

            Community Outreach Prayer, 12 noon at the church. Anyone interested in praying is invited to meet in the sanctuary directly after Sunday school to lay a foundation of prayer in preparation for our outreach to the community this year.
